Ever since we were teenagers, Japan has captivated us. From the pages of manga to the screens of anime, it held a special place in our hearts. In 2016, our dream came true when we finally had the opportunity to visit *the Land of the Rising Sun". During our travels, we had the pleasure of meeting Matsuda in her shop in Kyoto, a tea artisan whose dedication to her craft left a lasting impression on us. In her tea shop, we spent hours learning about the art of tea-making and savoring the flavors of her exquisite brews. It was a moment of connection and discovery that we'll never forget.

Since then, Matsuda's teas have become a cherished part of our daily routine, reminding us of the beauty and tranquility of Japan with every sip. Join us in celebrating the artistry and tradition of Japanese tea, and discover the true essence of this remarkable beverage with every sip. Welcome to our tea-filled journey with Matsuda!

We've decided to introduce three distinct varieties of Japanese green tea, ensuring there's something to tantalize every palate. With each variety, we invite you to embark on a sensory journey through the verdant landscapes and centuries-old traditions of Japan.

Sencha

Originating from Japan, Sencha is a beloved green tea known for its vibrant flavor and refreshing aroma. Cultivated under the sun, the tea leaves are steamed, rolled, and dried to preserve their natural freshness and delicate taste. With a balance of grassy notes and a hint of sweetness, Sencha offers a revitalizing experience with every sip, making it an ideal choice for both morning rituals and afternoon pick-me-ups.

Matcha

Renowned for its vibrant green color and rich, umami flavor, Matcha is a finely powdered green tea that has been cherished in Japanese culture for centuries. Grown in the shade to enhance chlorophyll production, the leaves are stone-ground into a fine powder, resulting in a velvety texture and concentrated flavor profile. Whether whisked into a frothy beverage or incorporated into culinary creations, Matcha offers a luxurious and indulgent experience that nourishes both the body and soul.

Gyokuro

Often referred to as the "jewel of green teas," Gyokuro is revered for its exquisite taste and exceptional quality. Grown in the shade for several weeks before harvest, Gyokuro leaves boast a deep emerald hue and a distinctive sweetness. Its complex flavor profile combines vegetal notes with hints of seaweed and a lingering sweetness, creating a luxurious and indulgent tea experience that delights the senses and leaves a lasting impression. Gyokuro is often savored slowly, allowing its nuanced flavors to unfold with each sip, making it a cherished indulgence for tea enthusiasts worldwide.
